As a child, I discovered my passion for painting and drawing, and since then, I've wanted to engage with it every day. It was a journey in search of ever greater challenges. In 2012, I started taking painting lessons from a fantastic artist, who laid the foundation for my artistic growth. Wanting to continually develop myself, I continued my artistic journey at the Academy of Fine Arts in Arendonk in 2015. My goal was to specialize in portrait painting. After graduating in 2019, I received a unique opportunity: I was selected for the specialization, which I embraced with open arms. However, during this period, I also discovered my fascination for painting landscapes, which gradually incorporated more and more abstraction. Nowadays, I find a lot of challenge in painting abstract works. The continuous search for the ultimate balance.

People and nature are my greatest sources of inspiration. I often work on several paintings at the same time, applying various techniques such as oil, acrylic, and watercolor. Alternating between portrait painting, where I aim for likeness, and letting go of the observational process in my impressionistic landscapes and abstract works, gives me enormous satisfaction. My paintings are characterized by a free and vibrant brushstroke. I create colorful and high-contrast compositions that enchant the viewer and transport them to a world of expression and emotion.
