Portrait painting is a great passion of mine, in fact. That's why I started painting. Capturing people on canvas, different from a photograph. A representation of what I see in the human being.

Put me in nature, anywhere will do. And I am happy! Together with my field easel, I frequently venture into nature to capture the atmosphere, colors, and impressions I experience there. These are often quick sketches made with oil paint.

A collection of my sketches and mixed media works. These are often studies that serve as a basis for another artwork.

Creating an abstract work is a beautiful and intensive process. I turn completely inward, allowing myself to fully immerse in my emotions and express them through the artwork.

I have a great weakness for animals, dogs in particular. I had the privilege of living with my dog Loekie for 14 years.
